Little School Boy

Early one crisp September morning, Owen put on his best clothes and fixed his make-up just so for his first day of preschool.

I realize these pictures are all nearly the same, but the sequence totally cracks me up. In the first one, he's happily posing for my camera, but by the third he's giving me "the look."

He started getting a little nervous when he was signing in....

And Owen, someday when you read this and you're a little embarrassed about your make-up application before your first day of preschool, it might do you good to know that Ava was the one who got the make-up out that morning. It was all her idea, you just thought it was a good one.
